Muzyka Baroku koncerty muzyki dawnej

The FLORIPARI early music ensemble was formed in 1994 by graduates of the Academy of Music in Krakow and the Royal Conservatoire (the Hague). The repertoire of the group consists of vocal and instrumental works of the Reneissance and Baroque, with an emphasis on Polish music. The musicians play period instruments or exact replicas and have taken part in numerous early music interpretation courses and masterclasses including those conducted at the prestigious Dartington International Summer School in England (1993-1995) where they learned from such masters as Paul Goodwin, Emma Kirkby and Anthony Rooley. In 1995 FLORIPARI received a grant from the David Reichenberg Trust of London for the purchase of historical instruments.

FLORIPARI is the resident music group at Wawel Royal Castle in Krakow and plays there daily from May until October. In addition to that, the group performs in concert and at festivals both in Poland and abroad (France, Germany, Slovakia, Moldavia, Lithuania, England, Czech Republic, the Netherlands and the United States) and pursues challenging projects in cooperation with other artists and ensembles specializing in early music. On many occasions, the musicians wear historical costumes, which lend the concerts a unique character.
